Glenhaven
is committed to providing a product and service of the highest quality
for all our valued customers. The pursuit of quality and its improvement
is a continuous process with measurable objectives. Each employee
is made aware of, committed to and actively involved in the quality
improvement process.
Our Dedicated team ensures that the effectiveness of the Quality
Management System is continuously monitored to achieve defined results
and to produce products of the highest and consistent quality.
The B.R.C. (British Retail Consortium) Technical
Standard, Higher-level accreditation, was awarded to Glenhaven Foods
in 2001. We have successfully maintained this standard and
continue to strengthen our quality and food safety systems to the
current day.
Food
safety at Glenhaven is strictly controlled through comprehensive
and systematic H.A.C.C.P. plans, which are implemented through the
Company's Quality Management system. The H.A.C.C.P. system is effective
in controlling identified hazards and is regularly reviewed to include
all new products and processes.
Our Quality team helps establish, maintain and evaluate product
and process specifications. They are responsible for preparing and
distributing routine quality reports, quality improvement reports,
process capability evaluations and customer information. In addition,
QA representatives perform audits to evaluate all aspects of the
quality system, including sanitation, product performance, housekeeping
and training.
Our Quality Assurance systems extend through all areas of our business
to ensure the best practices and procedures are followed and maintained.
Within our production facility, trained technicians continuously
monitor and record process and product data. This attention to quality
and food safety is backed up by a strict environment, which identifies
quality as everybody's responsibility.
